Currently January

I didn't make it in time for the last post of 2014, sooooo I will have my currently January be my first blog post of 2015. Hip hip hooray! Since I am new to blogging I am working on getting a schedule to blog regularly, as you can probably tell I have been a crazed blogging woman since I have been on my break and I will more than likely slack off once I go back to school and get in the grind. So here is my currently for 2015.

Let's see here we go:

Currently I am listening to the sounds of the gas log fireplace burning as I sit here and type this blog post. The silence is bliss at 9:30 in the morning. The Christmas tree is dismembered lying in the floor beside the Christmas tree bag and awaits me to put it in the bag and sling it up the stairs to the attic.

I am loving my cup of gingerbread coffee with pumpkin creamer from International Delight I am sipping on. I just recently started drinking coffee, basically as a survival technique in my second year of teaching. I used to not drink caffeine at all, but the lack of energy and slump I felt after school was not working for me.

I am thinking about how I need to go walk sometime today to get my cardio in. I have been working out 3 to 4 days a week since school started to build muscle and then the closer it gets to my wedding I wanted to implement cardio into my workout to trim some fat. I need to be able to see my muscles in order for me to know what I am doing is working.

I am wanting to enjoy the last few days before I have to go back to school from our lovely Christmas break vacation. I know that if I have made it to December the rest of the school year just flies by, but you really get spoiled being out of work for two weeks. Bah hum bug.

I am needing to select my wedding invitations(just one of the many to do's on my wedding check list). I also need to finalize my wedding list of guests so that I can send out the Save the Date cards.

Yes to getting fit for the wedding. I figured you should try to look your best for your wedding because after you get married most people gain weight and gain children, so here's to a fit and healthy year.

Maybe I wish to become a better blogger. I currently have one follower (yippee!). I would love to get more and join blogging groups and potentially meet new people.

I am linking up with Farley for currently January. Please go check out her wonderful blog and link up!

    1. Thanks for the comment. I have been working hard this Christmas break trying me best to blog up a storm because I know when school starts back I won't be able to do it as much as I would like.

  2. I'm also trying to blog more this year. We'll see how it goes! I actually gave up coffee this past year and traded it in for tea, but that gingerbread coffee sounds delish! Congrats on the upcoming wedding!

    1. Thank you for the comment. Now if you are an island teacher does that mean you live in Hawaii? I haven't looked at your blog, but I am about to.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding...such a hectic time but so FUN! I also had to take up coffee when I started teaching. I have been trying to figure out a way to stick a mini Keurig somewhere in my classroom...for me around 10:30 is when I really could use an extra jolt of energy!!

    1. I was probably in your neck of the woods two weeks ago. Wes and I went to Callaway Garden's to see the Christmas lights and it was a doozy of a time.

      Thank you for your comment!!

  4. I hope your wedding planning is exciting and fun for you. It's a lot to do! I'm a big fan of coffee and will most likely get another cup as soon as I finish typing this. I just started blogging in July, and I feel like I need to be more creative and informative with my posts. My goal was to give people a glimpse into my classroom and my life. I'm not sure how interesting that is to anyone, though! Blessings and Happy New Year.

    1. Don't fret. I am sure you have really great ideas and people will love hearing all about them. When starting a blog I thought no one will want to know about my life, but I thought why not?! Everyone else is doing it why can't I? Thanks for following me it is nice to know people read what I blog about! Happy New Year!!
